rather fast, you can taste them within days if the bottle is leaching. I
have never seen a bottle that has no taste in the water for a week, lets
say, then does any time down the road.

CS does little unless it is liquid, so, on a full stomach would tend to
immobilize the CS in the intestine.
CS works well on dysentary etc because there's nothing in there to
immobilize it anymore.
