I don't know the answer to that but .. when you can - go to www.silverpuppy.com their silver machine is awesome and you can make your own silver to have when you need it. In the meantime .. try a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in each ear. Put the drops in - let it bubble for 5-10 min ..
