I let the keifer go to cheese which is mixed to taste with Himalayan salt,Potassium chloride mix. This I got my daughter using and recently her 9+ month old pure-bred German short-hair ate some poison mushrooms.She was wasting away,vomitting,diarrhea,weight loss,skin and bones,etc.,.I told my daughter to give her the whey from the Keifer.It was amazing how fast the dog recovered and about 3 weeks later took a top prize at the big dog show for her age group.The dog gulped it down like it was candy,so she now gets some Keifer cheese too. Also she gets a light dusting of Sulfur crystals on her food which she avidly devours,strange, considering how bitter they are.
