I have to agree with Terry. My CS is much stable and crystal clear when I note
the times versus the PPM.

I want to put as much silver in the water as I can
while limiting the silver particle size. When the
silver particles reach a certain size,
Yes it would, but the amount of silver *in solution* would probably
change when cooled...and still read in the 20s or 30s on a meter.
It might agglomerate into larger particles and drop out...might go yellow
or green?
Try it and find out.
I never felt a need.

Not sure.
2. Would Ozenating or magnetizing EIS after the fact effect it one

silver it was being magnetized

Maybe this question has come up before but I have not heald anybody mention it.
Question:
What happens if you boil CS ? and if you have lets say a quart of 25ppm CS and
you boil it down to half its volume would the ppm go up to 50ppm?

If all that happened was that 50% of the water was lost, then yes. However when
you heat water the increased Browning movement causes increased
aggregation, larger particles, and eventually precipitation. Thus after
boiling you will likely find less number of particles, and may find many
Do not boil the EIS.

Slugs are repelled by caffeine. You can sprinkle used coffee and tea
grounds around but you have to replenish after a time.

No I don't think you'll have any luck with cs on slugs.

No I don't think you'll have any luck with cs on slugs.
Effective treatments for slug control are copper as a barrier,
sprinkling then with salt to kill, placing cover for them so they will
congregate and can then be disposed of with salt ( a board on the
ground that they will crawl under)

Try using household amonia either straight or diluted with a bit of
water (up to 30%).
I put this in a squirt bottle set to shoot a stream, and just give them
a squirt- they die almost instantly. It's fun and
the spray does not hurt plants as salt does.I do this after dark as that

Hi Trem and stuff,
The PWT is still strange to me. I still do not know what to think of
it.
But previously I talked about the conductance of the DW water (in
microSiemens).
In general, the conductance (in Siemens) is reciprocal value to the
resistance (in ohms) of any substance being measured.
So,
As I mentioned earlierthe PWT meter CANNOT read to three decimal places.
It can only show tenths, not thousandths.

Hi Sandee,
I sell Hanna PWT meters and have never seen any DW read 00.0. Lowest I ever
saw was 00.5 uS I have seen deionized water purchased at a local Safeway
store with lower readings than any DW ever purchased so DI water is
acceptable to use to make CS. It all depends on the conductivity,

Use a laser pointer and check the tyndall. Verify it is still clear, or
very pale yellow. If you still have tyndall, and it is clear or pale
yellow, and you do not find the bottom black, you are probably ok.

Sorry to be on this list and be this clueless. I joined after my CS was
frozen on my front porch (after delivery). Now I wonder if I need to
throw the stuff out.

Its easy just take 2 pieces of .999 pure silver I use wire that (I bought
from a jewelry store for $10) space them apart a few inches suspended in
distilled water (I buy mine from walmart for 58 cents a gallon) connect the
wires to 3 9volt batteries connected together I use wires with alligator
