No I don't have a filter and the TDS meter reads nought on my distilled water and reads the correct numbers once the CS is made, so I don't think the distiller is at fault. The TDS meter also reads over 300 on tap water and 200 on filtered tap water, so I think it's as accurate as its

Just to rule out the possibility that the canning jar may have had any involvement, try putting tap water in the same container used for the distilled and the CS. If tap water and distilled water have different results when using identical containers then we have something very puzzling that
