  I wouldn't worry - many people make statements that have  no bearing
  on reality  or  fact.  Perhaps the  person  misinterpreted  what was
  actually said.

  Your common sense tells you to ignore it - it is not true. It's like
  saying you  have a finite response to air and if you use  it  up too
  fast it will never do you any good again.
