Hi DaddyBob,
Questions:
In the taking of Lugol's, do you think that it is the I2 doing the work, or
the KI, or both?
(I know that KI is needed for the normalization of breast, heart and
prostate, at the very least.)
I know that both are needed and it has been a while since I read the
Dear Silver List,
Iodine allergies are as well known as contact allergies to Silver. Reactions
to shrimp, shellfish, kelp, etc. have been traced to iodine. Even when used as
a disinfectant in a purified form, Iodine is very well know to cause allergic
reaction. My sister almost died from an
These are some Iodine products I have ordered from Azure Standard, can
anyone comment on their bioavailability? What about kelp from the
Chinese grocery store as a source of Iodine?

I have never heard of Magnascent; can you tell me a little about it
and what it is for and if a Magnesium derivitive? I am using Iodine
and CS and taking Magnesium Chloride. I just know that goiter is much
smaller now so must be doing something right for a change.

What is the definition of Nascent, as in Nascent Iodine?
(The definition of what it is, not what it is not...)

This is admittedly one are where my knowledge is lacking, so hopefully
someone else with more knowledge will chime in...
The best form of iodine that I have found, thanks to 'ransley' (thank
you sir!) on another list, is something called magnascent. It is much
more potent and bio-available than

I bought some iodine at the chemist today. No big deal, you think. I'd

Hi, Rowena,
I don't understand taking Lugol's with raw ACV, wouldn't the iodine kill
everything in the ACV? I can see taking the ACV and honey afterwards, but not
with it. Both Dr. Jarvis altcancer.com mention using Lugol's with ACV but
when I re-read their instructions it also says apple

Well iodine is a 'necessary nutrient', but I CANNOT entirely avoid it,
and do not have a goiter, so I MUST be getting sufficient. 20 years + of
strict avoidance and I'm not dead yet (quite). So I get plenty of
iodine, all my ultra-strict avoidance does not mean I'm iodine
deficient, only means
Severe allergic reactions are much more common today than in years
past. Almost unheard of 100 years ago, now everyone has heard of it,
nearly.

It's interesting to note that people who are allergic to Shellfish are usually
allergic to iodine as well. Perhaps it's not the iodine you're allergic to but
a component of the iodine? Just a thought.

FYI iodine sublimates when heated i.e. it goes from solid
directly to gas.
Presumably resublimated means that it has been vaporized and
cooled.
