Not good procedure. However, the fluid is just salt water. Once you have the meter reading right, make a quart of your own using the meter. It doesn't have to be 84 uS, just note what it is, somewhere in the neighborhood. When reading it, make sure everything is at and stays at the SAME

Actually I just realized that the temperature in my house was not 77degrees. So this morning I reset the pwt meter using the room temperature. I had to bring the calibration from 84 down to 76. I wonder how that would impact my readings. I am distilling water again. Also, the distilled water
