I would consider them obsolete. They should be replaced by
org/apache/slide/store/txfile/TxFileContentStore and
TxXMLFileDescriptorsStore. The old stores did not support
transactions, which is absolutly required

As you may have seen, commit access has finally been granted to me and I
added a directory for code that is no longer supported or needed. I'd
propose to make this the new home for the stores in the slidestore
package. I guess this is a significant step, right? Do we need a vote?
