I've been considering the Asus Transformer for the
ability to have a proper keyboard and touch pad
and then use it as a tablet when that's all I want.
However, I see it as a bigger version of my phone

working with non-repo packages easier to work with.

My HP has exactly the same thing. The laptop even
has buttons exclusively for this. Starts
I have HP DV14A1p - works fine with Ubuntu since
first install of 8.04.
We also have two Lenovo X200s. With the top of the
range WiFi cards it was a case of insert disk
(Kubuntu 9.10), install...everything works (Fn
keys etc). 'T'was easy :))
