Many questions.... One at a time:

~RZ~> How does this whole trial thing work?

You can run the demo for as long as you like. The software itself is
the same for registered and unregistered users.

~RZ~> What is limited about it?

* The demo rulebase does not capture as much spam.
* The demo rulebase cannot be customized.
* The demo rulebase is updated less frequently.

~RZ~> How does the spam rule file update?

You receive an update notification email each time your rulebase file
is updated. You can download your fresh rulebase file from our server
either on a scheduled basis, or (PREFERRED) in response to the update
notification using a program alias on your mail server.

There are a number of scripts available on our web site that show how
to automate this task.

~RZ~> How long will it work?

There is no time restriction. You can use the demo rulebase as long as
you need to assure yourself it will work reliably in your environment.

You will begin receiving update notifications which contain your
license ID, rulebase file name (which is essentially your license id +
.snf), and a matching authentication code.

You rename the .exe to match your new license ID.
You download your registered .snf file.
You change the authentication string to match your registered license.

That's it.

All of these questions and more are answered on our web site.
