The LSF web site will be Cleaned up in the next couple of days in
preparation of the Next years events and the posting of the Last issue of
Shortlines for the year 2000.
The NATS 2000 pages and pictures will be going...if you want to down load
any of this stuff, go get it now.
Merry Christmas
Probably this will be hitting the list twice since I put the wrong address
on it the first time.
Question??
I thought we could use acrylic pigment with epoxy.
Is this true or false.
Thankyou.

Thanks for the input.
Seems there would be negligable benefits to using such a system in a model
airframe. (Minimal weight reduction, minimal increase in overall structual
strength)
Negatives abound so far: Decreased control response, complexity,
decreased battery cooling, potential
Unfortunately for those of with older computers, I think this requires a
significant computer upgrade. My P/166 with 64mb RAM isn't going to cut it,
I don't think.

How much tension should one put on a Hi-Start? Two times the weight of the
sailplane? Three times? Four times? Pull it till it breaks then back off
one step? Is there any rule at all?

Thanks to everyone for the help. Seems that I may be the only modeler in
the universe who doesn't know how to color epoxy! :-) .But I know now.

The one rule I have heard is don't stretch the rubber tubing more than 3x it's
original length.

I do miss the Flight Unlimited, particularly the glider
model and its math-model which is physics driven than those
of entertainment driven. It also support rudder control on
the third axis (stick axis) and tow start or mid air start.
I lost FU because computer h/w and s/w upgrade, so no more
