Can anyone give me a lead on the location of the SBSS field in Gilroy, CA
(Ekhoff Field).
I'm going to be in Morgan Hill Labor Day weekend and noticed they are having
a monthly scale aerotow at this field. I will have a couple of scale planes
with me and wanted to check it out. Can't make it
I get into Denver airport on Friday at 5pm, should be ready to fly in less
than an hour depending on baggage and rental car :-)
I have been asked to assist the Pikes Peak Soaring Society's efforts to win
glory in the Rocky Mountain Soaring Associations Challenge event on the

Last night I looked at the kits. I purchased four of them. Two were poly

you could also use a thickish piece of piano wire, heat up the end and push
into the foam to make wiring channels. This way the structural strength does
not get affected as much, seeing that the foam stays inside, but gets

Patrick,
I use a Sirius charger for my Multiplex stuff. It works great, and George
Joy stands behind his stuff. I also fabricated a jumper box from Radio

Hey Gordy, the hay will soon be down on our BAR/CSS home slope landing field
so we can fly slope all fall and winter. BTW, I used to fly a lot over Pikes

Go Here for info: http://www.soaringissa.org/events.htm
The field is wide open, surrounded by great lift and is a
Sorry for the confusion, I meant the adapter will use a wall wart or the
Sirius. BTW, Sirius, (George Joy) has a very inexpensive transformer
available that allows the 12 V. Sirius to be used on your workbench. I know,
I bought one from at the Pasadena contest, and it works great.
