Dan, Different frequencies are not necessarily required for flyoffs. But all fly-off pilots MUST have a unique frequency. For this reason, I'd like to know what frequencies that pilots have available - so we can tell them which to use for the flyoffs. For example, I'm the only pilot registered on

Michael, See if you can get a "left hand" drill bit. They are not that hard to find (http://www.mytoolstore.com/hanson/hanson.html). You can do a internet search on them. Make sure you run you drill press in reverse. At some point while drilling into the head of the screw, it will probably catc

I am also an archer and there are a fewe things you should be aware of when using a release. 1) They don't like to be bumped when they are under load. If your glider gets a rough tow up, the release might go off early. 2) The good ones are adjustable by a little set-screw under the trigge

I will second the opinion that you need to keep the nose down. I have not ROG'd but used to regularly winch up a LS-4 and it would ALWAYS over rotate and drag the tail for a second or two. When it's dragging the tail, you have to stand on the pedal which never gave me a big warm and fuzzy.
