Sorry, I have nothing to pander but I do have a question about

I did a scale Ventus last year, and I spent a lot of time looking at the
full scale documentation.
The ASW-27 is set up like you're describing, if I follow. As you go out the
wing / aileron, the control surfaces get smaller - the trailing edge is
coming forward, the hinge line stays
would it be a good idea to have an aileron taper from root to
tip, ending at a point right before the tip of the wing?
This is interesting however:
-Mechanical concerns would be intriguing.
-The width of an aileron is expressed as percentage of the local wing chord.
The best percentage is an

Best for planes that need max roll rate. Watch out for tip stall at low
speed and flutter at high

Hello,
I am planning to order the JR 610M receiver for my new sailplanes and
wonder if anyone can share his related experience with me, good or
bad.
Thanks,

Now there are really going to be some ticked off sailplane manufacturers out

Hi Guys-
I often hear various club members talking about (obecchi over foam wings).
What kind of wood is obecchi? Where does it come from? Why is it
considered a superior sheeting option for foam core wings?

Suppose you were driving from Seattle to Phoenix via Southern CA... what
would you do/see along the way that is model airplane related? Suppose you
had an electric sailplane along for the ride...
