Harley, I've been using one of these disc sanders for about two years and it's an
outstanding tool. Also sold by micromark.com for about $200. They offer a nice
assortment of stick-on grits.
I did find one small problem. The disc bearings were adjusted a bit too tight. When

Do you mean 5 degrees of dihedral or 5 degree wing rod? All the Compulsions
I have seen use 5 degree wing rods which gives only 2.5 degrees of dihedral.
Has anyone tried to use White Glue on a Vacuum Bagged Wing? Will it dry

Monokote now sells a branded cleaner for just this task. Google it. Or, I
understand another product for clothes irons, called Flitz or something like
that, also works.

It's not mine, but I thought I'd put the word out in case someone is looking

Your Proxxon disc sander may be a precision piece of equipment, but you'll
be disappointed with the job it does in this application. You'll discover
the same disadvantage that all disc sanders have, namely that the outer
edge of the sanding disc is traveling many times faster than the
Chuck,
I just used your article from Quier Flyer to set up the spoilers
on a very old, second hand Bird of Time. It has an unusual location for
spoilers (forward of the spar on the outboard panel) but seems to fly fine.
