I am in need of a Tsunami left wing tip. I broke the joiner box on this tip. I have a yellow red tip but Im not picky. At the Midsouth I was on my second flight of the day. Got up to the winch turned on wiggled everything. Put in the Launch Preset hooked up. When I threw the plane all I had

[RCSE] JR Transmitter Service

2006-07-08 Thread Dave Jensen
Does anybody know of another source for JR transmitter repairs besides Horizon Hobby? I need to get my transmitter repaired before a contest next weekend, so quick turn-around is essential... sounds like Horizon Hobby would be a bit too slow for this repair. Thanks Dave Jensen RCSE-List

[RCSE] new version of JR servo?

2006-07-08 Thread jrmaclean
Looking at the Horizon web site and found a reference to a DS368BB servo but no data. Is this a ball bearing version of the 368 and has anyone tried it out. Is it an improvement upon my favorite servo? Many thanks for any data, Jim MacLean

I replaced a couple of DS368s with DS368bbs.  They have the same size external case.  I presume the primary, or perhaps only,  change is the addition of ball bearings.   Have flown them a bunch with no problems.  I presume it is an improvement for increased use with less slop.Barry AOn Jul 8,
