Thanks to those who responded. He did not answer my several emails
directly.
I checked RC groups and found that he posted that he changed his mind.
He apologized and so is forgiven.
So it's back up for sale.

I think XPS is not long for the 2.4 world. Anyone that has seen the
companies promises vs delivery claims will understand.
I think out of all of the new systems Spektrum has the best support, and
that means a lot as we are finding that all of the systems have a problem of
sorts.

I agree, I think XPS is at a crossroad as a company. The company needs to
decide if they want to be a player in this space or continue down the path
of poor customer service (and you know the result). Rumors have them being
purchased by a larger company...Rumor also has it that they are changing
As anyone that has experimented with 2.4Ghz transmission can tell you,
it is simply not realistic to expect solid reception in the 2.4GHz
realm without multiple antennas. The need for spacial and polarization
diversity is too great. I was temped by XPS several times but happily
remained skeptical

Thanks for the update, Larry. This is the one I have been waiting for. Do
you think it makes sense to pre-order from Horizon now, or do you have a
sense that it would be better to wait a few months while they iron out
production issues?

Don,
How cool is that! I have been considering your product for quite some time
and just waiting to see if it would really hold up.
Now that you have been endorsed by the Precious Metal team, I guess I can go
a head and order some for my T-28 now. Congratulations and keep those
products
Guess I'd better not use any. I don't have anything that could survive
450 mph. Well, maybe the ballast in the nose
Larry:
Is this your way of making it fair for the rest of us? How high can
you launch your T-28? You guys in California must be using heavy line
these days. I'd feel bad
Got a report and some photos of a Carbon Perfect using a JR 9000/921 main rx
and one remote is reporting little or no losses on his Flight Logger.
No extensions, okay one whisker got 5mm added. One small hole in the fuse,
and two in the canopy.
Even I could do that kind of install :-)
