How far back are you guys placing your tow hooks on the easy glider? What
are you making your modified tow hooks out of? And how does it help the
launch?

Hi Jay,
For most flyers in our club, the tow hook is placed at the rear edge of the
depression for the plastic tow hook. A piece of dowel or plywood is embedded
in the foam centered at that spot. The tow hook is a standard screw cup hook
from the hardware store. The cup hook is bent to
Jay, I cut off the original hook and Dremeled the plastic base up into the fuse
for a new tow hook mount.
Then with my dremel cut open a slot 4.00 long X 3/4 wide and glued in, with 5
min epoxy, a 1/8 ply base for mounting an adjustable Airtronics tow hook.
Right now my hook is set at the C/G

If you are looking for new kits I sell my Zephyr II. Old school HLG which was
designed specifically for just such a contest. I have gotten 7.5 to ounces with
all stock kit wood as have others. I have two kits in stock and another run on
the way.
