The Vought Corsair and the Grumman Hellcat both used the Pratt Whitney
R-2800 Double Wasp 18-cylinder two-row radial engine. The Hellcat used a
three blade prop, as did early versions of the of the Corsair. Grumman's
design used a straight wing with a longer gear leg while Vought engineers
