Before all of the new fancy gadgets (which most of the times don't work
well) people used straight edges. Try a 48 straight edge, use a fine
pencil, and don't try pushing the blade through on the first pass.

Sure you'll need outlets, shelving, flat surfaces, etc
You'll also want to build in a secret hiding spot for all your airplane

What's even worse is to watch a guy fall 70+ feet from a tree, never to see
his wife a kids again. This is all after the local firehouse was called and
on there way. So it's not just Power or sailplanes that kill, it's the lack
of brains.

I've been flying the Logic DHL. Simply put, this style of hlg flying makes
the traditional throwing obsolete... The hight is amazing... Even with no
prior DHL experience this plane has shown no sign of wear or stress. The
overall flight characteristics of the plane is spectacular.
Anyone flying a Logic DLG? would be interested in hearing the various
setups and handling comments. Just about ready to fly (or discuss launch)
mine.
Ordered it from NSP last week and received it within the same week. Guess I
have nothing to complain about.

I'll be in Dublin, Amsterdam, and OSS (Netherlands) next week. Any hobby

Better yet for those in the north east. Buy a box of 100 blades for $10 at
the WRAM show next year. I go through a minimu of 100 blades each year
since I do build and cover power planes in Monokote. Then I save them
thinking I'll use them on the next building project but end up throwing them
I'm trying to get more travel out of my flap servos on a JR 8103. Currently
in the butterfly set up, maximum travel is reached at 65%. Yes,
mechanically it's easy to get more throw but to keep the servo fully

Pretty cool and almost too easy to fly, . It's breezy and overcast today
but the Spectre does like to go up anyway. know if I can only keep within
the tiny bubbles down low.
Flying with the CG at 2" from the LE seems a little nose heavy. At what
point will you know if you'r too far back?
Hey guys,
Took ownership of a Spectre poly last night. The airframe is just about

but I didn't get a manual with it. Have some questions, maybe some one can

I'm not techinical in this but I know Monokote is a mylar base and Ultracote
has a Poly-something base. You can actually peel the color away from
Ultracote
but not Monokote. Also, what many people aren't ware of is Monokote has
a grain pattern to it, it runs the length of the roll so the

I saw this in a post this morning. Would like to hear
more about CF stab pins. Were can I get them and are
they still as strong as the metal pins at such small
dimension?

Was there some crude devise that can be made to approximate distance?
Distance was a topic of discussion in our club meeting last night

Is Obechi too heavy to be used on hlg? Don't use the stuff much, just
need to know if there is a significant weight penalty. I would think the
results with obechi would be much strong than balsa.

Anyone know were you can get this stuff? My Zagi hit hard on the face of my

Will probably land in the next town with the ridiculously fast winds today.

Looking at these three composite ships from NSP, what's the
most practical or best way to chose one? With the WRAM show
coming up, I'd like to pick one of these up for the coming season.
Any input or comments on these would be much appreciated.
TIA
