imagine that things are that much worse with a 2.4 setup. Any
chance you can relocate the RX and its antennas to the wing center
section, asssuming there's little or no carbon in it? I think the key is
gettint the antennas away from the carbon/kevlar weave.

Having seen a bunch of nylon gear servos strip in flight on
sailplanes-ailerons flaps, I now only use metal gear servos.

Yup, had similar problems with Batteries America. DMA is outstanding for
completed packs, great service levels, too. Also, batterystore.com is
good for loose cells, with or without solder tabs.

Hey Bernie...why stop at a 100 when I've got an original kit of the 140.
Since I'm never going to get around to building it, make me an offer I
can't refuse! (We met at the JR aerotow this year.)

Mark, thanks for your note, that Escape has just been sold pending
collection of funds. I will be posting some other NIB sailplanes
shortly that are in my collection that I just don't have time to
complete to including some nice ones from Vladimir.

At today's dollar/Euro conversion and high international freight rates,
my guess is this plane will cost somewhere in the range of $1,500. You
can steal it for $1,000 plus local UPS shipping.
PM if interested. I'm only selling it as described above.
