The other day I got a call from my Hobby shop Bud, Don Tankersley.
He tells me that a fella was selling out all his stuff, and that there was
a plane in the bunch that I might be intrested in.
He would not tell me any more...
Sooo, I hot footed down the the hobby shop to take a look see..
And sure enough was I suprised.
Standing in the corner was a Maestro Megan, MkIII I think.
It was black and Yellow, a color scheme that I had used in the pre 80's on
most of my planes.
Pulled off the canopy and there was my name, and phone, for that time..what
a hoot.
A few cracks in the fuse, the wings in really good shape, top and Bottom
spoilers, (neat idea then..but stupid) ,
but was missing the stabs.
I gave him 50 bucks for the thing, I think I sold it back then for a couple
of hundred...who Knows !!!
At any rate, I am looking for a source of plans / drawings/ whatever so I
can put this bird back in the air.
This was my second HI Performance (right) airplane after the MPX Flamingo,
or was it before...
any help wouold be appreciated.
Additionally, Don has a couple NIB Dodgsen Hits and a partially assembled
Clam shell thing.
you can call Don at 513-248-9220 for more details.
TIA
Jack
