One of my old Northeast Sailplanes catalogs shows 3 Prisms, including a
Prism Racer slope plane, and the 2V and 2T thermal planes. It says it
was originally designed by Ron Vann, and NSP bought the the rights to mfg it.

I can remember putting together planes with my brothers with rice and
newspaper! The rice would get stuck to our fingers but easily removed by

Slegers originally sold the Prizm, then NSP took over after that. I have
a Spectrum I bought from Slegers many years ago. Had a midair that
trashed one wing and I replaced them with a set of Prizm wings. Flew

are still quite competitive in TD (no slopes around here). The only
negative I would mention is that mine have 3/8 steel wing rods which

Buy the Futaba--it is a wonderful radio that will do virtually anything you
want. The versatility of being able to reassign switch functions and the
option to configure the open PMIX functions are worth much more that the few
bucks you might save getting the Hitec. There are a couple of
