Benchmark?
Define benchmark!
I don't like this word.
How bout paradigm, probably equally as ambiguous instead?

Capture tow-hooks don't work well with zoom-launching techniques.
Operation of such increases pilot load during arguably the most
critical portion of a sailplane flight, seemingly causing a problem
rather than solving one.
FYI, those older types of (nylon) hooks can bind and not release

I haven't seen one broken while landing, but my flying buddy, Don
Harban, found that the pins in the pivot on his Supra stab mount were
loosened and was fortunately able to fix the situation prior to
loosing a ship.
Another type of problem can occur with these mounts if not enough

Can it be true? AMA is to refund membership fees for last 10 years?
Additionally, Life members (those still living) shall be refunded
their initiation fee plus interest? According to sources, oil has
been discovered on the national AMA site and 12 rigs are pumping
I used home-made servo-savers on my Ducks back in the 90's. These
worked well but required a bit of fabrication. Note this is for
bottom-horn, bottom servo-arm installations only. It will stretch upon
being pulled, so if you are using bottom servo / top flap-horn you

Hey, Mike;
I have an RDS8000 as well and was reading your post on RCSE. I'm
doing the same thing using it for electrics and sech... outa be

several good chargers, but few which do it all.
I have an Alpha 4 and have enjoyed it for its features for more than
ten years, during which it has worked flawlessly.
It does have limitations, but it puts a longer lasting

Seems like reinventing the wheel to me.. but maybe I'm just in a
funny MODE.
Completely open programming paradigms are not very useful as
evidenced by the lack of success and popularity (specifically, their
programming) of the ACE and Multiplex TX's for the common hobbiest

Can't argue with the weight or power consumption of a STY. Those
early NSC processors and EPROMS are pretty power hungry. I'm glad
you like your JR. However, The point I was trying to make, albeit
poorly, was that reverting to a 20-year old problem (channel to
channel mixing only ) is
Amen.

I concur with Anker. Yahoo groups lacks for our type of usage.
Google is simple (like a Mac) and Yahoo is difficult, convoluted and
tedious (like Windows).
I am using the abridged option which is slick, quick and doesn't
keep asking for passwords. Groups has it's place but Google
