we are testing everything out there.

There were two threads very recently regarding Bullet and, among other issues,
about exactly this one.
The thing is that the bullet exporter interprets the grid as a solid box, and
that has a minimum thickness as it seems. Give your grid some thickness, or

One more question if you don’t mind,
all Qt applications look the same,
maya, nuke, mari, sometimes is hard to tell which one you’re seeing in

does that mean you cannot ‘skin’ Qt window? Give it abit of SI look for example
is not possible?
From:
Please don't give it a bit of SI look. Blah! Its so old school and needs
some updating IMO. :)
You can skin the UI using CSS (Style sheets). See Ana's message above.
You can change it according to some variable which determines which app
you're in.
I did take RR for a quick test a few years back. How is the linux
integration these days? Also, how much can you customize it? We use quite a
lot of python scripts for pre-render and post-render.

As for Qt apps looking the 'same', I think that's just because certain
conventions work really well for 3D DCC apps (dark gray, lots of
controls on the screen). Honestly, you can make apps look just about any
way you like.

Hi
iirc, the constants are defined in the gen_py cache:
C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\win32com\gen_py
You can force it to regenerate by deleting the gen_py folder. But if you
reinstalled, wouldn't that have zapped the cache anyways?

Hey,
That seems to have done it, thanks! I tried the uninstall again, it didn't
delete the cache. It may have to do with the dodgy readme.txt file in
site-packages that gave me crap about permissions. Either way, clearing
gen_py out manually seems to have fixed it.

We've had an issue with 2012 sap where some of our scenes are resetting all of
our ICE node values to zero. Has anyone ever had this problem?
Not sure if this is the case with you,
but ICE resets values to defaults if not specified explicitly. For
example if you have a node or a compound that takes a int or
scalar value as input and you set it directly to some value then
on a refresh the tree will be
It seems like we may have corrupt nodes. i.e. an emit from null node is now
missing parameters that were there previously... le sigh.
The odd thing is that the scenes sometimes load up and work and sometimes
don't. This isn't a permission thing either, everything else seems fine.
