Using an older one would avoid weird behaviour (Something like 2010 .. ).
Or at least the same version between Maya and Soft ... is that the case?

I have had similar problems in the past. If memory serves, plot only one of
the params (I did Focal Length) and let xsi figure out the appropriate
value for the other (fov).
