When dealing with systems, only install what you need.
I only install the graphics drivers. I don't install Nview, PhysX, game

primary is the lh monitor, task bar on the rh monitor so there's a couple of
options there to tweak, as for a soft profile in the driver I've not seen

Just a quick thought: Do you have the monitor on the right hand side running as
the primary monitor? And maybe check the nVidia settings for using the
Softimage profile. Doesn't look like a driver issue, but who knows.
