Hey folks
I have an pointcached liquid. I'd like to apply a procedural texture on it
(without) and I'd like to also transform this texture. I was considering the
Edit UV node in the render tree, but I couldn't really figure out how it works.
Anybody could help?

Cool! How about transforms on rig objects, how do you zero out control
objects? Is the object's coordinate relative to its parent, like in
XSI's parent translation mode? is there add mode for rotations?

houdini's handling of transforms is about as good as it gets.
by default, you will get a zeroed out transform on creation but this can
be pushed back onto the stack
as needed.
you can also quite happily stack utility transforms ala xsiNulls too if
that floats your boat.

Dohh - a bit more tampering and it works. Carry on - please disregard.

I hear you Jon, this is one of the things I have been stressing out as it is

There's no need to use the Edit UV shader. When you apply a spatial projection,
you get a texture support object parented under the liquid. You can just select
and transform the texture support like any other. If the projection has been
frozen, you can still use the sliders on the texture

Hi Francisco
Peter's suggestion is on point -- give that a go to find out if you are
missing any dll's
Also, check the Plugin Manager and see if aaOceanDataShader is showing up
there or not. That will help with finding if it is a shaderDef issue, or an
actual shader issue

some kind of interface to do automated keying.
I was thinking of doing a nuke script / plugin to do this.
