You don't need anything bigger as a matter of fact I'm running that exact
PSU for 4x Titan X, and before them it was pushing 4x Titans.
Nothing more is needed. 1200W is cutting it a bit too close but 1500 is

Depends on which card you end up going with. But even a 970 x 4 will draw
900 leaving you with 600 room for the rest. And that could be fine
initially. But consider the fact that power supply ubits become less
efficient over time and will start to output less wattage.

The cheapest option would be any brand with the reference design coolers,
which are pretty much straight from nvidia. They push the heat out of the
rear of the case, you can set a custom fan profile to try to keep them from
throttling.
The water-cooled version looks great, and the temps are
as much as I know those risers and extensions can't really support full
speed PCIE, it would lower PCI speed significantly for each card, now not
sure about other render engines but for Redshift it is good to keep at
least at speed of PCIE3.0@x8 or PCIE2.0@x16
