Hope somebody help me with this. I´m trying to build the addon from the github page, but when i try to run as administrator the ´abuild.bat´, i see a pop up window open and then immediately closes, i´m trying to run it from inside Softimage and from an explorer folder, the same happens, but when

i think you can just make it however you want and just import it into meshlab as obj or fbx just remember there's no smoothing normals or averaged normals in real life, so bake the smoothing before export zbrush was good with that since zbrush has no normals and it's almost faceted On Wed, Apr 4,

Thank you guys for the recommendations! There´s some guide to follow to do this correctly from Softimage? Talking about the modeling, like.. i model the asset in quad, triangles, can i use hard edges, and after that i export the asset in obj or fbx, open it in meshlab/meshmixer. Anything i need

Yep, Meshmixer does STL export. it also has some nice tools to make things hollow, to save on print material. You can also check for errors like non-manifold geometry and walls that are too thin. Ronald van Vemden --- 3D Graphics & Animation

i use Meshmixer for all this kinda stuff, I know it can prep for print, not sure on the stl export though

i used zbrush to export STLs, I know there's a way to measure things in there too kinda before export maya 2018 also does it, now that i looked at it, not sure how it gets it's measurements. maybe on world scale On Wed, Apr 4, 2018 at 5:15 PM, Tenshi wrote: > Hi guys, > >

Hi guys, Hope somebody could enlighten me in this, i´ve never worked with 3D Printing and Softimage, My client wants a model that´s going to be metal, for what i know it´s a ´simple box´, soon i´ll have the Autocad plane with all the dimensions. I´ll use Softimage to model this, but my client

TouchDesigner includes nothing relating to VOP's, as I mentioned it's based upon Houdini v4, long before VOP's were invented. In truth TouchDesigner is showing it's age and is being bested for real-time duties by Notch. Notch is effectively VOP's on the GPU.

My guessing is that it might have a better system than Ice (maybe close to vop). Just wondering, why is this better ? 2018-04-04 21:07 GMT+02:00 Jonathan Moore : > Beat me to Oliver! TouchDesigner is an offshoot of Houdini v4 made for > real-time, so what it has to do

Beat me to Oliver! TouchDesigner is an offshoot of Houdini v4 made for real-time, so what it has to do with ICE I'm quite confused. :)
