Thanks Olivier for the help.
After some tests I was able to print the object with textures! I have
written a short method in my blog, perhaps it can help others trying to
print with textures:

Subject: Export to STL with textures?
hi!
I'm trying to create an STL file from a Softimage model that has targa
textures.
I've tried :
Soft export to STL via the plugin import to Meshlab textures don't
show up
Soft export to OBJ import
Ah, thanks Peter!
But what about OBJ? Shouldn't they export textures? Cause the imported
OBJ's textures don't appear in MeshLab or even in Maya.
Is there a problem with the Softimage OBJ exporter?
Thanks
David

Hey David,
Obj should export one set of UVs. Not so sure the texture (picture) will
be correctly included or referenced.
At best it comes with a Lambert or Phong wit diffuse color and specular.
