Hi all,
Just a quick off topic note that we've recently added high quality PBR
to Clara.io's real-time viewport as well as adding post effects to our
viewer.
You can now craft results in the viewport that look like this (DOF,
bloom, pbr, clear coat, fresnel, area lights, etc.):

Does anyone have an opinion on the Monoprice 27 IPS Pro monitors?
They are currently on sale for $389.99 at Rakuten.com, which seems like a
steal for an IPS display of that size. It's running 2560x1440.

this):
Whats the color gamut on that one... ? It all seems a bit low budget to
return good results. Plus if it has a glossy screen i would drop it faster
then a hot brick.

Ah, I didn't even think about the glass causing issues.
I just read that Dell is releasing a 4K 24 IPS monitor soon too. That
looks interesting for sure.
The Monoprice might be good for my kids/wife/parents, though.

That leaked dell looks amazing but i think the price could hit well above
3k in dollars.

Hi,
I thought a few people in the list might be interested in a little bit about
how I use Softimage as the core of the 3d asset pipeline I have created for
