Ayatollah Bosnia-Herzegovina has asked for Iranian military aid to Hezbollah

By Bahman Aghai Diba PhD International Law - Persian Journal

"Ayatollah Bosnia-Herzegovina" is the nickname that Iranians with a sense of
humor have given to the Mullah Janati, the Secretary of the Guardians
Council and one of the most conservative Islamo-fascists in Iran (1). He had
gained this nickname due to his leading role in channeling Iranian money and
dispatching Iranian volunteers to the war in the Bosnia, following the
disintegration of the former Yugoslavia.

The end-result of his effort was that most of the volunteers were coverted,
married and settled in Bosnia and they never returned to Iran. The rest were
expelled and the Bosnian government almost cut its relations with the regime
of Iran and has since mostly voted against the Iranian positions in the
international forums because it does not intend to be identified by a regime
like Islamic Republic in Iran.

Now, Ayatollah Bosnia-Herzegovina has asked in Friday Congregational Prayer
in Tehran that "Muslim leaders should arm Hezbollah in its fight against
Israel... ."(2)

According to the Farsi Service of the BBC): "...he called supporting
Hezbollah a religious duty.he compared the Israeli attack to Lebanon to the
Ashora, the killing of the Third Imam of the Shiites [Hussein] in the war
with the army of Yazid from the Omavid Dynasty...he called Sayyed Hassan
Nasrollah, the leader of Lebanese Hezbollah, as the 'Man of the Century',
and added: Hezbollah is really the friends of God, Ali, and his household.
All people of the world are under the obligation to help this cause. The
best assistance to the cause of God is fighting in the war of Islam against
the infidels and I hope to see the celebrations for victory of Islam over
infidels."(3)

Meanwhile, apparently groups that call themselves students volunteering to
fight against Israel are marching in the streets of Iran to gather forces
that accompany them to Israel. So far they have apparently managed to absorb
around fifty persons. God knows how many of them just want to leave Iran and
get to the territory of another country and they will never show up in any
war, just as the great number of volunteers who were sent to Bosnia under
the guidance Ayatollah Bosnia-Herzegovina.

It is ridiculous that the Iranian volunteers, who are apparently acting
against the official policy of the Iranian government to stay away from
intervention in the present stage of the Arab-Israeli conflict in the south
of Lebanon, are marching in the streets, instead of going to a kind of
clandestine operation. This is like Al-queda operatives marching in the
streets before going for the terrorist acts in their destinations.

Undoubtedly, Israel is anxiously waiting to catch one of these so-called
"volunteers" and show to the world that Iranians are actively behind the
Hezbollah even in the present stage. The fifty or so volunteers will never
show up in war front. They were stopped in the border of Iran and Turkey and
it seems that after the Turkish officials were convinced that these
"students" were not going to the south of Lebanon, they entered the Turkish
territory. It is noteworthy that that the Turkism officials, couple of weeks
ago, did not give permission for the flight of the Iranian aircraft that
were apparently carrying humanitarian aid to the Lebanon. (So did the Saudi
Arabia).

Iranians are worried about their own problems. As long as there are Iranians
under the poverty line, there are people who cannot afford a descent meal
for their families and there are unemployed people and their number is
growing, these people are not satisfied that their limited resources are
given to the Palestinians. More important than that, the Arab Palestinians
have never supported Iran in any issue. During the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988)
the Arabs were all supporting Iraq. At the moment all Arabs are supporting
the position of the UAE about Iranian Islands in the Persian Gulf.

Therefore, it is obvious that while Iranians feel sorry for all victims of
the armed conflicts (civilian or military, child or adult, male or female),
they do not consider it a duty for them to stand by the Hezbollah in
Lebanon.

Persons like Janati, are putting the people of Iran in the line of danger
without any permission from the people of Iran. Let us pray for him like a
Mullah: "May God Guide him in the right path and if he is not guidable,
clean the earth from this filth." Amen.

(1) He was most probably behind the Serial Murders orchestrated by the
Intelligence apparatus of Iran during the presidency of Rafsanjani and
Khatami in Iran.
