Hi All,
I am newbie in Spacewalk. And i found its very useful tool to manage lot of
Redhat, Centos and fedora machines.
In my env., i have a local repository server and spacewalk. But i want to
remove that local repo server, because same repos are in spacewalk
channels.
So my question is that,
Go into spacewalk and set up a new channel and add a repository and use
your current repository to sync from to get you started on how to use the
repos. If you click around in the interface for channels and repositories
it should be pretty easy especially since you are using a local repo.

I have not been able to figure out how to set up a .repo file such
that a non-subscribed system could use a Spacewalk/Satellite channel as
a yum repository. You mention baseurl which is available in spacewalk:
where are you seeing the baseurl for a channel?
This would be very

I have an odd problem that just started today with my Fedora 18 channels
which are managed within Spacewalk. While trying to install a mod_wsgi
package, yum complains about missing a httpd-mmn = 20120211-x86-64 dependency:
$ sudo yum -y install mod_wsgi
