I'll try the double-spamdyke trick to see if that works for me. Nice idea
:-)
Having thought about it, other than for logging purposes, I don't absolutely
100% need filters AFTER authentication. I just need filters before
authentication.
e.g. IF (no rdns | is in blacklist | fails any other normal
Thanks Lutz.
I'm sure that would work and I will definitely try it.
But I'd still not be able to do connection timeouts and rdns checks etc,
which ideally I'd like to do.

Great idea. I've made a simple test and takes longer but it works.
I will put on a production server soon.

Interesting ideas. To make it possible to disable authentication from specific
locations, I suppose the easiest way would be to make the "smtp-auth-level"
option valid in a configuration directory. Then you could create directories
using the IP ranges or rDNS names of those countries and inclu

May be it's simple: spamdyke sits in front of all and does authentification
in your case. Shouldn't it be possible to insert the classic rblsmtpd between

But I was going to post about this too. I also would love the *o

Really simpel: To be safe we in general don't allow clients to access if
the ip is listed at spamhaus sbl-xbl. This had good effects.

Why not?
Many users submit from dynamic address locations, which are typically
blacklisted. If filters weren't bypassed, they wou
Hi,
I have a doubt:
If a user authenticates with SMTP auth. All filters are ignored?
If true, Why?
Thanks in advance.
