For their concert they use sound collected by visitors to the exhibition SOUND//BYTES_electrical and digital sound scapes. With specially designed headphones visitors to the exhibition are able to walk around Oldenburg acoustically discovering the city*s electromagnetic fields and record them. From these and their own recordings the two artists create a live mix of the electromagnetic sound scape of Oldenburg, generated by neon advertising, security devices, cell phones, automated teller machines, or other electric equipment. Because of its great success the exhibition SOUND//BYTES is now running until 29 April 2007. Until then, visitors can still use the headphones to explore Oldenburg on Christina Kubisch*s *Electrical Walk*.
