[Speed cubing group] Spreading the Cube

2005-12-04 Thread richy_jr_2000
Hi all, The holidays are coming up soon, which means some free time for most cubers! With this extra time, not only could we improve ourselves, we could teach others how much fun the cube really is. Lets each make a goal to teach at least one person to solve the cube before the new year.

It seems pretty onteresting indeed. I've done 10.42 on average for F2L, but my biggest problem is the cross that often takes ~3 seconds. If I can choose among two different start I will probably get easy crosses and x-crosses much more often, and I think I can lower my avg alot, just like you

I've found and posted some algs I found myself (mostly with help of ACube) in the past and every time somebody asked for one I had to recreate it slowly. So finally I now created a page to collect them at one place: http://www.stefan-pochmann.de/spocc/speedsolving/3x3/ There are 2 or 3 that I

Hi :-) It could be that im stupid ;-) But what is really the difference between multi-cross solving and the old discussion about whether to solve with the cross on same face (same color) or not ?? When it comes to it, you choose ONE cross that you solve first, and that's it! Having to

Hey Per, I've noticed that I can get a feel for whether white is good or bad. Basically I've been solving white for years so my strategy for a while (which I'm trying to change) is to examine white first. If white is bad I then examine yellow. What I've been working on lately is taking a quick
