Hi, I'm attempting to get an Alcatel Speedtouch USB/ADSL modem working under Linux. I've successfully got the USB side working, and Alcatel's management program is running. I've built the 2.4.7 kernel with the pppoatm-1.gz patches and options as suggested by

You're using the Alcatel's drivers. This mail list is dedicated to a user space driver that has nothing in common with the Alcatel's one (except the firmware). So we cannot help you with Alcatel's drivers problems but if you give a try to the user space driver (http://speedtouch.sf.net) don't

You'll need to uninstall all you've done so far... I wasted many hours trying not to. I found it easier to re-install linux, well this machine is for research. please use http://speedtouch.sourceforge.net/ the one you are currently using is no longer actively supported, and was very much more
