and so you haven't successfully logged on to your ISP. If you don't log on,

You must create manually the file /etc/resolve.conf which may contain lines
like this :
# file /etc/resolve.conf
nameserver first DNS IP of your FAI
nameserver second DNS IP of your FAI
etc...
For example :
nameserver 193.172.19.3

i've been using the speedtouch with different linux distros and it always worked fine

i'm using vector linux, with a 2.5.9 kernel, and when doing modem_run, it says 'i
