At this stage I'm thinking it may be easier to get
Sun/Oracle to fix the aac driver, than to get Adaptec
to fix their own driver. But I may be wrong.

would not claim to be a CHAP expert, but as I understand it,
the targetchapsecret is used for bidirectional chap.
So if you wanted to revert to unidirectional chap, then you
would want the ability to unset the targetchapsecret.

The latest fix is this:
6746831 nv_sata: SGPIO LED code should use a more reliable method to
determine whether a
Wireshark should be able to open display the capture files.
It can deal with most formats, including snoop, automatically.
BTW, Wireshark is now in openSolaris since snv_114,
as package SUNWwireshark, although maybe not the latest version.

In which case that implies to me that the Initiator
name is being 'lost' in the code somewhere for
some unknown reason...
