I read various threads in this newsgroup about getting a Date from a jsp page into a bean. Now I'm converting a String value into a Date value in an Action.
But there is a JSTL tag <fmt:parseDate> that should be doing this. But nowhere in the documentation can I find a small example of how to do it.
Is it possible to parse user input to a date object using <fmt:parseDate> or is it only for parsing Strings to date used in the page itself?
