regarding the XOs. For the last four years, the teachers and students have
complained that the devices do not connect well or reliably to our wireless
network.

After all working with kids is supposed to be what we are all about.
I was talking with Ignacio, a kid from Uruguay that hangs on #sugar
and told him to sign in Code-In.
He is excited, but I still wonder if OLPC/SugarLabs would be joining
this effort.
Right how he is working with Flavio D. on doing some ports to GTK3.

request byte array data as a ByteArray as is done in other places.
This wasn't a problem before the upgrade to dbus-1.6.8; its likely
that the byte_arrays setting was questionably inherited from other

But if the browser (is it NS8?) used in Sugar is HTML 5 incompatible then
what Lionel suggests is the best option.
My advice is to limit your content to basic HTML. But of course it lost most
of this interest because HTML5 come with lot of free
Kevin,
I also grew up in that world. I fondly remember my first computer class in
high school (1978), learning FORTRAN on the big teletype machine.
When those remarkable moments of learning on the XOs are happening, I know
