What about the island of Majorca?
Here you will find one of the highest concentrations of sundials in Europe
(and plenty more traveler interests).

Dear Gnomoniacs,
Following the suggestion of Roderick Wall I translated my EoT diagram into
English.
I also updated the year, but not the diagram due to the minimal differences
(9 seconds today).
Hope nobody accuse me of sacrilege.
A PDF file will be send on demand.
Cheers

Dear Willy, Tom, Chilian, and all.
The gnomonic complex of Puerta de Toledo, Madrid, was build in 1988
commemorating the 200 anniversary of the king Charles III death.
Juan J. Caurcel made the calculations and Alberto Corazón the design.

Dear John, Fabio and All.
I am involved in sundial preservation for many years and, personally, I am
not enthusiastic with the rising interest on sundials as a GPS photo

Old sundials are precious historical items in serious danger to disappear

Hi Mario
Your comment coincides with the local heritage responsible.
So, we shall renounce to the functionality in this sundial?
We know there where numbers (Arabic) and we have enough references from
other sundials to reproduce an approximate typography. It is not acceptable
painting the new
numbers in a way that only when you are close you can distinguish de
difference with the rest.
Will keep you informed.

Dear friends
We just started a restoration program of the local sundials were we face the
following dilemma.
On an historical sundial where the lines and the frame are still visible but
with the old numbers completely disappeared (fresco paint over stucco), can
we recover the functionality
Hi Johns et al,
Yes the spiral dial is a simple manipulation with a sort of Escher´s
filter.
There is only one vertical declining sundial at the parish church tower of
Amer, Girona. (close to Susqueda dam). Catalonia, Spain.

Hello everybody.
The next 7,8,9 and 10 of May, the Comisión de Relojes de Sol de Mallorca
organizes the 2º GNOMONIC ENCOUNTER OF MALLORCA.
For all who don't know the island, Mallorca has one of the highest sundial
concentrations of Europe with more than 900 dials recorded.
