The tutorial is for "starters" or to show how easy it actually is. Some people that haven't dealt with embedded platforms and/or a routerdistribution like m0n0wal or pfsense before might expect it as something that can't be easily done by them. Btw, that's why it is under the "basic" section and not under "advanced" ;-)
