After flashing a compiled image neither astreamer nor httpd were running.
So I tried flashing from the DVD to recover to a precompiled image
(8.0.8.25 or 41). Forgetting to apply the update this failed and I
desperately tried to force the camera into network boot mode.

the problem seems that you erased the bootblock and the logs show that you
did not write anything to that block. All the rest seems to be flashed OK,
but the boot code is in the boot block. Can you please post the commands you
used, not just the output?

As the bootblock might have been erased a simple solution will be to install
our testing software (it is also used for initial flashing the cameras and
MAC assignment)

More information regarding our 'flashing' problem:
The commands used in trying to reflash the boot block are in the attached
script 'netboot-full'. Seems it had accidentally been renamed to
'netboot-full.dat' in the last post. Most importantly we would like to write
a correct boot block,
