from 2.0.36 to 2.2.3 off and on all day, and finally got it working when I
remembered that "make bzlilo" was sticking everything in / these days.
So, I did a "mv v* boot" and "mv S* boot". I changed to my boot directory

installed 6.0.
I am now trying to get back online from Linux.
Using kpp, I created my account, setup the modem and device, and created
a script for my ISP, etc. This is kppp a great tool!!! Using the log
window, I can see

W3.x und DOS funktioniert, soweit ich das richtig gelesen habe, nur die Einbindung von

Neustart habe ich nicht versucht, da der Rechner als Webserver fungiert
aber der Neustart des syslogd-Prozesses half... Danke!

ich hab mir die Quellen für den Kernel 2.2.3 runtergeladen. Ich mir dann einen
schönen Kernel mit "make menuconfig" zusammengestellt und anschließend den
Kernel und die Modules kompiliert/installiert. Mein neuer Kernel lässt sich
aber noch nicht booten. Sehr schnell nach dem Bootversuch
du musst den treiber fuer deine root platte fest einbinden und nicht als module
definieren

ich habe mir vom Suse-Server KDE 1.1 und Koffice geholt und installiert.
Koffice fehlen aber drei Dateien: Der Befehl ldd /opt/kde/bin/koshell.bin
meldet, dass folgende Dateien fehlen:
libkparts.so.1 = not found
libkpartsui.so.1 = not found
libkom.so.1 = not found
