I read an Oil burner book that describes when using heavier industrial fuel oils, a fuel preheater is needed. It also said to preheat the fuel in the fuel tank with a heat exchanger. This idea is how I'm planning to run my diesel on straight vegetable oil!! Talk to your oil burner repairman
