Energea's 5T per hour plant is £1.9 million (Sterling) and 7 months
delivery with 30% up front. If it's high FFA feedstock, add in
another 300K for acid pretreatment plant. You then need a site,
storage facilities for the oil chemicals and product. £3M might cover
it.

Excuse me if it looks like I have denegrated Alecs' process, but I
don't think I have. What I have done is to point out that high FFA
oils are not easy to deal with.
I strongly believe that either the FFA based ester has something
missing compared to alkali reacted ester or something else
Yes definitely what does it cost and where can we get the kit?
It might even be able to close my questions about FFA derived
biodiesel. Can it measure the oxygen content of biodiesel?

This is getting tedious, I'm simply reporting what I found.
I followed the acid base recipe and got a low calorific value fuel.
After the acid was neutralised and allowed to settle, I ran the 1.5g
of NaOH as per the recipe. This did not transesterify all of the oil.
I therefore repeated the

There may be three reasons:
a) You asked a quote for a small plant. We can o0nly offer you from
10.000 tons/year up.
b) We where simply busy. Sorry, but we are realy swamped with inquieries
here.
c) Your mail got misplaced somehow and did not
Keith, folks,
thanks for the credits, but there may be a misunderstanding about small in
context with our technology.
Our plants build very small, but still have medium to large scale in terms
of capacity: 10.000 tonns to 50.000 tons /annum per unit. Such a unit builds
into 3 40' container
Wow! Our marketing effords get done by themselfs, it seems ;-)

Hi all
Hanns, Harry
For general enquiries Camillo Holocek of Energea does contribute to this

can mention this to them if you are keen, and are not discouraged by the

Dear Members,
Please visit www.bangkokpost.net for more details.
I also attach a report on the confirmation of the tax
exemption for biodiesel, veg.mix such as coconut/palm
oils(to differentiate between the 'ester' and
raw/refined veg.oil) and ethanol.

Hi Samai
The list won't accept attachments, sorry. I found this though, from
today's Bangkok Post - but it's all about blends, no
transesterification.

Hi Keith,
The proposal actually is all about methyl/ethyl ester
form of biodiesel. The straight veg.oil blend is only
part of the whole package, or even a small part of it.
The blends get more attention as we try to find cheap
fuel for farmers for use with low-rev farming
equipments, and as you

Diesel's original plan was to use powdered coal. Liquid fuels
were first used in compression-ignition engines in France by Capitaine,
but the engines have always been called Diesel nonetheless. Peanut

From Rudy's own documentation. He displayed his engine at the 1900 worlds
fair using peanut oil!
basically he said the future was in vegetable oil if I may be allowed to
paraphrase.
