Ahh, just parked my new (to me) '82 VW diesel westfalia in the
driveway. Zero rust, seems to start and run pretty well, although I'll
be doing some work. Got a SVO heater and valve from neotric, so I need
to figure out some place to mount a tank, and also start making some
biodiesel. Life

Talking about sewage/garbage. How do you guys dispose of batteries(dry cell).
Another question is some batteries have written on them mercury free.
Why is there mercury in a dry cell and does this mean dry cells have
mercury unless they say there is non on the packaging.

Ken,
If you are lucky, your county or city recycling program will
collect dry cells. Or you can unload them during amnesty days,
which most cities have once or twice a year.
If you're not so lucky, you can mail them to a recycling center.
